Although the tiles are thematically linked to the module The Seven Saxons by Bad Axe Games, you don't need the module to get good use out of the tiles. The set contains 25 tiles. Two are just basic cave passages; four fit together to form a slime-covered ledge curving around a large natural pit; two constitute a straight cave passage punctuated by lava vents; four fit together to form a multi-level cave passage; three fit together to form a descent into what looks like a dragon hatchery; and ten of them fit together to form what might be a dragon's lair, a multi-level cave descending into an underground river or lake (the lair also features crystals, lava, mushrooms, and mold). There are also three bonus tiles?two included in the intro PDF, and one available online?including a cave passage that links to a Dungeons of the Dead corridor, a cave segment linking into an alchemist's laboratory (see Dungeon Details Volume 3), and a link between the hatchery into an ice cavern.
