Ed takes the e-Adventure Tiles sailing with High Seas Warship, a set of a couple of dozen tiles that allow you to assemble—you guessed it—a large warship. The ship is basically 120′ long by 25′ wide (in game scale) and has four decks. The number of tiles in this set is a little bit misleading, in a way, because many of the tiles are identical to others except for the positioning of the cannons. As always with Ed, the set is well done. At the time I bought this product, I was about to embark on a city campaign, so I didn't use it right away. My current 4e campaign is a seafaring one, however, and the High Seas Warship set has already come in handy.

Very nice set. Good quality artwork and nice, detailed design. My only complaint is that there aren't enough options to customize layouts. I'd like to be able to make multiple ships of different sizes, and to be able to mix and match deckplans.

A good product.

Liked:

 • The tiles are beautifully done. They tiles can be moved around to give a bit of variety. These tiles will add a lot of flavour to a ship setting.

Disliked.

*Decks 1 & 2 have three different versions each. One is without cannons which is useful if there are no cannons in your campaign. The difference between the last two versions is that the cannons are out in one version and the cannons are in and the hatches down in the other version. It is only a minor difference in the tile so I felt that it wasn’t really worth including it.

Overall.

I would of liked to see a bit more variety form some of the decks.

Value for money.

I guess it depends on how much you vlaue flavour in your games. It is not overly expensive, yet $1-2 cheaper would have made me estatic with this product.

Another great set of tiles from the master of great tiles sets. The artwork is beautiful, as always. You get a full ship that has a few options for customization, including the number of cannons and whether their deployed for firing or not. You can also increase the length of the ship by adding more copies of the middle tile. You can even remove the middle tile altogether and have an extremely short ship.

LIKED: Beautiful artwork, and this set has nothing to do with dungeons, caverns, sewers, the woods, the desert, or even town.

DISLIKED: Even though the ship has limited customization possible, I'm waiting for the expansion before the set reaches its full potential.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
