I am not sorry that I purchased them - given the price, but these could have been so much better. I could pretty much put the same knocks unto most of the e-Adventure tiles.

1) They are not square. This is a very bit hit against these tiles. Because they are not square you cannot easily rotate them to change a setup. I cannot stress how important this knock is against the e-Adventure tiles. These tiles are 6x9 - so you can do 3x2 tiles rotated, but this makes mixing and matching a nightmare.

2) No layering. PDFs have a wonderful layering capability that give easy access to a larger number of tiles simply by turning on and off different layers. Sure, they accomplish the same thing by including a decent number of tiles, but it is not like this set contains that many tiles.

A specific hit against this tileset

A) Where is the simple blank tile. Without that tile you have to either leave a blank space in the build-out or the structures are crunched together.

A very good product, this expands the E-Z lines into the desert/wastelands. Hopefully, there will be an oasis pack soon, which will round things out nicely.

Great set that compliments Desert Bluffs. Highly recommended for this unique setting. Ther is no Blank Tile in this set, but it is available as the free download tile for Desert Bluffs.

I guess the only reservation about this set is that there are no apparent pathways in the sand. Overlal though great work, although the ruins are quite 'samey' as in there are no tiny rooms within the sets, or intricate winding corridors.

Like the other SKG tile sets this one is really nice. The only drawback is that all the tiles contain ruins, a couple of blank areas would have been nice.

I hope further desert sets with blank sand, some dunes and perhaps an oasis will become available.

LIKED: high quality artwork

DISLIKED: currently a 'stand alone' product.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
These are excellent tiles and they are expertly illustrated. They remind me of the Indian ruins in Arizona. You can put together a whole city if you want. A good buy.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
You get a nice set to build your lost city in the dessert ruins. Nothing spectacular - but exactly what I wanted. From a simple structure to a huge maze - everting is possible.

LIKED: Artwork, Tilelayout

DISLIKED: nothing

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
Another great set of tiles from Skeleton Key. If you have ANY adventures set in the desert, you could add much cool flavor to your game by printing out some of these to create a cool location for your group. That is the real advantage to eAdventure tiles. I would love to be Gary Gygax and weave a tapestry in my players' minds with my description alone, but I can't. eAdventure tiles have lots of little details that let the players get a real feeling of being somewhere, that I can then add to with my descriptions.

Another terrific set from SKG. This one is a bit more focused than most, but as we are starting an Eberron campaign using the published modules as a base, this will fit in well :)

Ahhhhh very very nice. Love the look and feel and would love to see a continuation of these outdoor theme sets. Simple desert, grass, hill, field, etc tiles would be a great add-on kit

Love the bonus tiles (as always)

Very nice initial set in a new environment for the wilderness format tiles; as usual textual detail is incredible, I especially liked the transition tiles with the dungeon entrances on. Would like to see more sets along this theme, certainly we could use an oasis, perhaps some tiles with pyramids or Egyptian style monuments would be good. Would also be nice to see some dungeon tiles perhaps themed to an Egyptian look (you know, crocodiles, hieroglyphs, ankhs, that kind of thing).

Also, a plain desert tile would be highly useful to allow for an approach/border to the set, and also for spacing out the ruins more. With the Hamunaptra boxed set coming out for d20 in the fall I can only see interest in this set and any supplements increasing.
