Heroic Maps - The Lich's Lair

I used this map as the finale confrontation with my version of "Zhengyi, the Witch-King" who had built his "lair" in the Shadowfell. This map was great having the Adventurers exploring his lair, encountering various creatures and encounters, and then encountering the final battle with Zhengyi, the Witch-King in the throne room. The map esthetic was appropriate for a setting. I would like to see some additional add-ons for this map. However, it was great for the final encounter with this Lich in my campaign.

While this isn't the place for a review a how i agree or disagree with the content. They did provide the content before i needed to run it in an organized manner. +1 for adding Eberron to AL.

I like the variety in this supplimental. I have usds several mooks in my curren LMOP to highten the intensity in some combat encounters, or even random encounters. One thing to note however, at least with my copy is that on the 2nd page (table of contents?), there is alot of errors and garbaled letters. Here is a link the capture i took off the document. https://imgur.com/a/725dr Other than that, i like the formatting, and the stat blocks. I wish there was more colorized images however to go along with the stat blocks.

Thanks!

Heroic Maps - Storeys: Pyramid of the Sun Priests

I love the map details, and they are just right for a one shot. However, since i play primarily on roll20 (VTT), i had to reduce the file sizes on the maps just to be able to get them uploaded so i can use them (roll20 limit is 10meg). Then i had to resize them to fit the grid. I would say, if these maps are "VTT" ready, them at least one of the popular VTT sites (roll20) file sizes should have been supported. (meaning having ready made maps with the proper sizes to begin with) Other than that, i'm happy with the maps.

Cheers!

Heroic Maps - Storeys: Haunted Mansion

Great Haunted House battlemaps! I found them just in time for Halloween. I'm building a horror/trap haunted house game (D&D 5e) based on these maps. I like the detail of the spider webs, and the decay on the tables, and flooring. I also like how the maps align with the floor maps above or below it. It makes my map transitions on my VTT that much easier, where i can prepopulate the tokes on the next map. Aligning them on Roll20 wasn't that hard at all. Very easy.

Thanks for your work!

P.S. I also have my eye on that Inca/Aztec temple battle maps too.. :)

Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth - Realistic Maps
Publisher: Dungeon Masters Guild

I bought these maps for my first forey into personalizing my DM experience on roll20. I literally spent months, finetuning, populating, and scaling the maps to fit not only the roll20 grid, but i wanted to keep the original monster population as close as possible to the original (just have updated 5e montsters) I have added my own "wilderness" maps to flesh out the experience. I can't tell you how excited i am to finally invite others to explore these maps, and this 5e conversion of this module. I have just finished Session 1 of game time with these maps included. Although my players haven't yet found the "Caverns of Tsojcanth" I'm positive they will be in AWE of the realistic maps by Jon Pintar. I have included dynamic lighting in my game, so walking through these maps with dim lighting, with the errie creepyness that is captured in these maps will have the players floored! I for one am amazed that the detail that Jon has put into these maps. I absolutely love them, and advise if anyone is looking to run this module via VTT or maybe even printed tabletop, use these!

Thanks Jon! I'll be back for another set of realistic maps for another classic module i intend to run.

I just ran this for a table at "GLENNCON", Board Game Barrister’s annual free-to-attend, weekend-long tabletop gaming convention. I wanted to play something out of the ordinary than just the latest AL "module of the week". This was my first time, so i wanted it to be somewhat different. The players at the table at the end thanked me for a good game, and said they enjoyed it very much. It was pretty straight forward, and easy to follow, and i think we finished it a bit over 2.5 hours. It did get a litter hairy towards the end, but my group succeeded. I'll definitely run it again.

Thanks!
